The Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees (PACE) in Negros Occidental has requested Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson to release the Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) for provincial government employees.

PACE chairman Engineer Ruben Diamante, in his letter to Lacson, said more than 60 percent of salary performance bonus for regular and casual capitol employees will be received once the governor approves the release of PBB.

Negros Occidental received the Seal of Good Local Governance Award last month, the basis for provincial government employees’ eligibility for the bonus.

Diamante said now is the ideal time for PBB’s release.

Meanwhile, PACE currently conducts its election of new officials.

Diamante, who is also participating in the polls, said PACE has not stopped advocating for proper benefits of their colleagues./DGB, WDJ
