The Negros Occidental provincial government has begun processing and releasing additional bonuses for all qualified employees of the provincial government.

Provincial administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz said they have started processing the annual bonus.

Diaz said the productivity enhancement incentive amounting to P5,000 is now being processed.

Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson will make the official announcement on the employees’ additional bonuses and benefits at the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony in the Provincial Capitol Park and Lagoon tonight.

Lacson will announce if the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) will be at P25,000 or will be increased by P5,000.

The provincial government has set aside P85 million for the CNA bonus of all its regular and plantilla casual employees.

Contract of service and job order employees are also expected to receive gratuity pay as well as gift packs.

Last year, they received P5,000 in gratuity pay.

The lighting ceremony will also be the provincial government’s Christmas party, coinciding with Lacson’s birthday./DGB, WDJ
