The La Carlota City Police Station said they are currently looking at “personal grudges” as the motive behind the murder of a water district employee on November 17.
La Carlota deputy police chief, Captain Edgar Salde Jr., said they have already secured footage from closed-circuit television cameras in the murder of Wilbert Solina, an employee of the La Carlota Water District.
They also have a “person of interest” in the killing.
Solina sustained gunshot wounds in the face and neck after an unidentified suspect onboard a car opened fire at him in the city’s Barangay Cubay.
He was rushed to the Don Salvador Benedicto Hospital, but later succumbed to his wounds while being transferred to a private hospital in Bacolod City for treatment./DGB, WDJ
