A notorious robbery suspect was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Bacolod City’s Barangay Cabug on Friday night, October 6.

Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) director, Colonel Noel Aliño, identified the arrested as Edric Pasustento, a resident of the said place.

Recovered from the suspect were four plastic sachets of suspected shabu worth P10,200.

Charges of violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were filed against him.

Pasustento was detained at the police station.

The BCPO said the suspect also bears the name “Edric Namol,” based on his previous mugshots.

Aliño said Pasustento was previously arrested for illegal drug violation and robbery in 2020 and 2021.

Pasustento is known for being an alleged “akyat bahay” suspect.

He confuses the authorities by giving an incorrect middle name and surname, the BCPO said./MS, WDJ
