An estimated P408,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated from a tricycle driver during a drug buy-bust operation in Bacolod City’s Barangay 2.

Police Station 2 conducted the operation against 37-year-old John Paul Jovero, a resident of the city’s Barangay 26.

Police said Jovero, identified as a high-value individual, was detained in the police station.

Charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were filed against the suspect./MS, WDJ
