A man was found dead along the road near Bredco Port in Bacolod City on Wednesday, September 13.

City Police Station 2 chief, Captain Paul Vincent Pendon said the victim was identified as 32-year-old Marlon Illustrisimo, a resident of Barangay Cubay in Negros Occidental’s La Carlota City.

Illustrisimo was hogtied and succumbed to more than five stab wounds in his body, Pendon said.

The victim’s family refused to have the body undergo post-mortem examination.

An investigation is ongoing./WDJ
