Three individuals were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Bacolod City’s Barangay 21 on Tuesday night, August 29.

Arrested were 41-year-old Carter Olmedo and 47-year-old May Venus, both residents of the city’s Barangay 21; and 34-year-old Jomar de Asis of Barangay Estefania.

Recovered from the suspects were seven plastic sachets of suspected shabu worth P47,000 and illegal drug paraphernalia.

Police Station 1 said Olmedo was identified as a high-value individual. He was arrested for violating the Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act in February 2021, and is still under probation.
