Kaya Futbol Club-Iloilo women’s team hacked out a lopsided 4-0 victory over Tuloy FC in the 2023 Philippines Football Federation (PFF) Women’s League at the PFF National Training Center in Cavite province’s Carmona town over the weekend.

Cadag opened the scoring for Kaya-Iloilo with her connection in the 19th minute, as it was followed by Navaja’s conversion three minutes before the end of the first half.
Rodriguez and Lustan continued the goal spree for the Iloilo City-based booters with their connections in the 84th and 89th minutes as they stayed on top in the league.
The game also marked the return of Philippine Women’s Football Team defender and co-captain Hali Long and goalkeeper Inna Palacios for Kaya-Iloilo after the conclusion of their campaign in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Unlike Long and Palacios, the debut of Filipinas members Olivia and Chandler McDaniel for Stallion-Laguna FC was met with a 4-0 defeat to De La Salle University (DLSU).
Former national women’s football team member Alisha del Campo netted a brace in the 25th and 89th minutes as the three-time champions DLSU claimed their fourth win of the season.
Maria Layacan and Angelica Teves also found the back of the net in the 18th and 33rd minutes, respectively, for DLSU’s lopsided victory over Stallion-Laguna.
In other results, Manila Nomads FC banked on a late Stacey Arthur equalizer to draw University of Santo Tomas, 1-1. Stephanie Logastua scored the first goal for the Tigresses in the first half.
Far Eastern University (FEU) also collected their fourth win after a 5-0 win over Azzurri SC.
