A man was stabbed dead inside a resort at Barangay Haguimit in Negros Occidental’s La Carlota City on Sunday, August 6. 

The fatality was identified as 30-year-old Demi Alvitch Samson, while the suspect was Romeo Samillano.

Police said the victim tried to pacify a commotion between Samillano and some resort visitors.

However, the suspect allegedly stabbed Samson in his stomach, back and head.

He was rushed to the Don Salvador Benedicto Memorial District Hospital but died while under treatment.

The investigation is ongoing./WDJ
