A man sustained wounds in his leg after he was stabbed at Barangay Sta. Rosa in Negros Occidental’s Murcia town early yesterday morning.

Police identified the wounded as 34-year-old June Barrios, a resident of the village’s Purok Ipil-Ipil.

The suspect’s name was withheld.

An initial investigation showed Barrios went to the suspect’s house before the incident.

He was rushed to the hospital for treatment, while the suspect fled to an unknown direction.
