The Negros Occidental Sangguniang Panlalawigan will hold discussions over the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) submitted by the Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees (PACE) to Governor Eugenio Lacson regarding the benefits of the capitol employees.
In a statement, Lacson said the provincial government is always looking after the welfare and benefits of its employees.
Ruben Diamante, the newly-appointed PACE chairman, said one of his goals for the union is to restore trust, transparency and communication to address the concerns of government workers.
The CNA, which provides benefits for capitol employees, including incentives of P25,000 at the end of the year, is set to expire on December 3 of this year.
Lacson also expects the new officials to protect the rights of the employees and fulfill their responsibilities./DGB, WDJ
