A resident of Negros Occidental’s Isabela town was shot to death early yesterday morning.

Police said 29-year-old Micheal Kevin Benignos was allegedly shot by the suspect, 45-year-old Harold Carpuz, in the town’s Barangay 4. 

An initial investigation revealed a heated argument ensued while they were having a drinking session.

Carpuz allegedly shot the victim twice, hitting his back, after Benignos stoned him.

The victim was declared dead on arrival at the Ignacio L. Arroyo Sr. District Hospital./WDJ
