Operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) confiscated an estimated P476,000 worth of suspected shabu and arrested five individuals in two separate buy-bust operations on Saturday, July 22.

Police Station 8 conducted an operation in Bacolod’s Barangay Singcang-Airport at 4:05 a.m., which resulted in the recovery of 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P68,000.

Police arrested 39-year-old Brian Samodio, 37-year-old Mary Joy Lopez, 36-year-old Kim Edgar Dogaojo, and Jodelyn Gamboa, of legal age, all residents of the said place.

Meanwhile, in Barangay 40, Police Station 6 apprehended 48-year-old Jude Villarmino, a resident of the said place, at 3:46 p.m.

Police confiscated 60 grams of suspected shabu worth P406,000 from Villarmino.

The suspects were detained in respective police stations.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./MS, WDJ
