Two police personnel were injured after a patrol car fell and crashed on a roadside in Negros Oriental’s Basay town yesterday morning.

Patrolman Bryan Earl Oville, patrol car driver, and Patrolwoman Jedeliza Andrade, both from Basay police, sustained minor injuries.

Basay police chief, Major Marcos Lopez, said the patrol car was heading towards Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office in Sibulan town.

The driver lost control due to a slippery road as he overtook a tricycle, police said.

They were brought to the Bayawan City District Hospital for treatment./WDJ
