Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said he will not be able to join the Association of Chief Executives (ACE) in Negros Occidental on their trip to Macau after the State of the Nation Address by President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. on July 24.

Lacson said, before he could travel abroad, he would need to ask for travel authorization from the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

He already had one official business and two personal leaves abroad.

The governor also had an upcoming personal leave, the reason why he cannot accompany the local chief executives on the Macau trip.

Lacson said he doesn’t know who will pay for the travel expenses of the ACE-Negros Occidental members./DGB, WDJ
