Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson mulls the construction of a waiting area for watchers at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) in Bacolod City.

Lacson expressed his desire to provide a comfortable waiting area for patient watchers inside the regional hospital, as they often line up early in the morning.

The Capitol currently strengthens their legal basis for the plan to convert a building beside CLMMRH, currently occupied by the University of St. La Salle-College of Nursing.

Lacson said they do not need to fully occupy the entire building.

He also revealed that the provincial government is in the process of finalizing development plans for properties previously occupied by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Bacolod and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.

In March, LTO-Bacolod transferred to its new office building at Sitio Manayawsayaw in the city’s Barangay Mansilingan.

The provincial government spent P33.34 million for the new LTO building, also located on provincial government-owned property.

The old LTO building on Cottage Road will be converted into a multi-use building, possibly the CyberCentre 2./DGB, WDJ
