Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson will hold a simple State of the Province Address (SOPA) days after President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. delivers his State of the Nation Address (SONA).
Lacson said one of the foundations of his SOPA will be the success of every department in the provincial government.
He added that he doesn’t have an exact date as to when he will hold the SOPA.
The governor said it will be after SONA, which is scheduled on July 24.
Lacson pointed out he was still gathering the reports from all of his department heads.
For this year, Lacson said his priority will be the province’s bulk water project as it will benefit six local government units in the province.
The SOPA will also be held during the regular session of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan./DGB, WDJ
