Two 9mm bullets were discovered at the Negros Occidental Food Terminal Market in Bacolod City on July 3, Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Alberto Nellas, Jr. said.

It was also the day when the contracts of provincial government’s job order and contract of service employees were renewed.

Nellas said an employee from the Human Resources Office discovered the bullets on the terminal market stairs.

He added the incident is now being probed by the capitol’s Security and Safety Division (SSD).

The legal officer further revealed they already have a person of interest, but Nellas said he is still waiting for the SSD’s official findings.

He added that they are looking into the possibility that the bullets may have been left in the area inadvertently.

They are not ruling out the possibility that the person who left the bullets may be sending out a message./DGB, WDJ
