Negros Occidental Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) head Dr. Edmundo Raul Causing has tendered his resignation effective August 1.

Provincial administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz said Causing submitted his resignation due to “health reasons.”

Diaz said they do not have a replacement for Causing yet.

An officer-in-charge will be appointed once he steps down from his post, he added.

Diaz further added the provincial government will try to attract as many qualified persons for the position, as food security is one of the flagship programs of Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson./DGB, WDJ
