A bus caught fire along the road in Negros Occidental’s Bago City early yesterday morning.

Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Bago City said, based on initial investigation, the bus was from Hinigaran town bound for Bacolod City.

The bus driver smelled some burnt wires and immediately parked the bus on the roadside. 

He told his 35 passengers to get outside of the vehicle.

No one was hurt in the incident, although the fire destroyed the bus.

The BFP is still investigating the cause of the fire./WDJ
