Another Negrense has been appointed by President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. as acting board member of the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA).
Negrense David Andrew Lizares Sanson has been appointed as the planter’s representative, replacing Pablo Luis Azcona, who has been designated as acting SRA head.
Sanson is known as a member of the United Sugar Producers Federation.
He also served as treasurer and one of the directors of the VIMACA Planter’s Association and the Victorias Agricultural District Farmer’s Cooperative.
Sanson’s appointment was signed by Marcos on June 15.
Earlier this year, Azcona succeeded previous SRA administrator David John Thaddeus Alba, who stepped down in April due to health reasons./DGB, WDJ
