Two drug suspects were arrested during a drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Mambulac in Negros Occidental’s Silay City yesterday noon.

Arrested were 32-year-old Gerardo Gelisanga of Bacolod City’s Barangay Pahanocoy, and 22-year-old Rubilyn Suplico, a resident of Barangay Zone 2’s Purok Santan in Talisay City. 

City police said they confiscated eight sachets of suspected shabu, with a combined weight of seven grams and valued at P47,600.

A buy-bust money amounting to P3,400 was seized.

The suspects are currently in police custody and are facing illegal drug charges./DGB, WDJ
