Nine fighting cocks were reportedly stolen by three suspects at Barangay Rafaela Barrera in Negros Occidental’s Sagay City at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 9.

Arrested were 22-year-old Bienvinido Puno and 18-year-olds Junmar Narciso and Jordan Santillan, all residents of the said place.

The fighting cocks, valued at P3,500 each, were recovered from the suspects and turned over to Leah Austria, a resident of the village, police said. 

Investigation revealed that the suspects entered the premises by destroying the perimeter fence./MS, WDJ
