A tricycle driver died on the spot after he was gunned down by unknown assailants at Purok Tahong in Bacolod City’s Barangay 2 on Friday, May 26.

Christian Escalona, 23 years old, a resident of Purok Mahimulaton, Barangay Banago, was driving his tricycle when the suspect opened fire at him, Police Station 2 Captain Jonito Pastrana said.

Escalona sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Police recovered three empty shells of unidentified firearms from the crime scene.

The police station already has a person of interest.

The motive for the killing is being determined./WDJ
