The Top 4 drug personality in Negros Occidental’s La Carlota City was arrested by a law enforcement team on Monday night, May 22.

The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Reynaldo dela Cruz Jr., was apprehended in a drug buy-bust operation in his residence in the city’s Barangay 2.

An estimated eight grams of suspected shabu worth P54,400 was recovered from the suspect.

Police said the suspect has been a subject of their surveillance after receiving information that he was allegedly engaged in illegal drug peddling.

He is facing charges of violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
