The Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO) will implement road closures at two festival sites during the Bacolod Chicken Inasal Festival from May 26 to 28.

BTAO head, Police Major Junji Liba, said there would be road closures at the North Capitol Road and Manokan Country.

There will be closures along Lacson, Aguinaldo and Ferrero streets near festival sites.

Jeepneys with routes Mandalagan, Bata and Fortune Towne are affected by the closures.

The closures will start at 2:00 p.m. onwards, while the activities will start at 5:00 p.m. during the three-day festivities.

Liba said BTAO will release a traffic rerouting plan to be implemented.

The celebration of the annual festival is based on City Ordinance No. 847 of 2018, and is now known as “Bacolod Chicken Inasal Festival.”

The three festival sites will be the Upper East, the North Capitol Road and Manokan Country in Reclamation Area./MS, WDJ
