A teenager allegedly shot his brother following a heated argument.

Police said the 15-year-old suspect was a resident of Barangay Rizal in Negros Occidental’s Escalante City.

The victim was identified as 43-year old Alvin Sevillano.

Police said at around 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, the brothers were at their grandmother’s birthday party where they had a drinking session.

Due to drunkenness, a heated argument ensued between them.

Sevillano chased the suspect but the latter took a cannon made of polyvinyl chloride, and accidentally shot the victim, hitting the forehead.

The victim was brought to Vicente Gustilo District Hospital for treatment, while the minor was referred to the Women’s Children and Protection Desk./MS, WDJ
