A tricycle driver was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Guinhalaran in Negros Occidental’s Silay City on Monday afternoon, May 15.

Elvin Bracamonte, 45 years old, a resident of Bacolod City’s Barangay Mandalagan, was arrested by elements of Silay City Police Station.

Seven plastic sachets of suspected shabu worth P47,600 and P2,600 cash were confiscated from Bracamonte.

Police said the suspect was in their custody, and charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were filed against him./MS, WDJ
