An alleged druggie tagged as a high-value individual (HVI) was arrested following a buy-bust operation at Purok Kingfisher A in Bacolod City’s Barangay 16, early yesterday morning.

Police identified the arrested as 22-year-old Bryan Dequiña, a resident of the said place.

Based on information released by Police Station 1, they arrested Dequiña after he handed over a small sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer.

A follow-up search of the suspect and the premises yielded nine sachets of suspected shabu with a combined weight of nine grams and valued at P61,200.

Dequiña is now detained at Police Station 1 for violating provisions of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./DGB, WDJ
