A man was stabbed dead while two others were wounded at the covered court of Barangay Caduha-an in Negros Occidental’s Cadiz City, early Tuesday morning, May 2.
Police said 22-year-old Jupith Teruel succumbed to multiple stab wounds on his body, while his elder brother, 24-year-old Romar, and 26-year-old Jeric Cañete, all residents of the place, sustained stab wounds on the lower portion of the body and abdomen, respectively.
Romar and Cañete were confined at Cadiz City District Hospital.
Police are yet to identify the suspect, who is still at-large.
Investigations disclosed that the barangay was celebrating the annual fiesta when a commotion transpired.
Due to drunkenness, an unidentified person stabbed the victims using a bladed weapon.
