Two brothers were hurt after they were allegedly mauled and stabbed for unknown reasons.
Confined at Cadiz District Hospital were brothers, 34-year-old Patrick Alvarez and 30-year-old Khen, both residents of Barangay Zone 6 in Negros Occidental’s Cadiz City.
Police identified the suspects as 34-year-old Joseph Besa and 37-year-old Ferdinand Abuan, both of the city’s Barangay Daga.
They were detained at the local police station.
An investigation disclosed that the brothers were about to leave a tattoo competition at 9:40 p.m. on April 27 in Barangay Daga.
Without any reason, Besa allegedly stabbed Patrick.
Khen was allegedly punched by Abuan on his head and back. He was then allegedly stabbed by Besa.
Patrick sustained a stab wound on his right thigh, while Khen had a stab wound on his chest.
Police said Besa allegedly used a kitchen knife in the incident./MS, WDJ
