A minor and two others were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Bacolod City’s Barangay Tangub early yesterday morning, April 27.

Arrested were a 14-year-old girl from the city’s Barangay 14; 48-year-old Jade Babaran, a high-value individual; and 27-year-old son Jadelle Clyde, both residents of Tangub.

Confiscated were 14 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 55 grams and valued at P374,000; and P500 marked money.

Babaran and his son were detained in the police station, while the minor was turned-over to the custody of the Social Development Center.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the suspects./MS, WDJ
