A woman was arrested for allegedly selling 32 liters of petroleum products in Negros Occidental’s San Enrique town on Wednesday afternoon, April 12.

Police identified the arrested as 42-year-old Carmela Tumlad, a resident of Bangga Pacoma in the town’s Barangay Tabao.

Based on information released by the San Enrique police, they seized 22 liters of gasoline in soft drink bottles and six liters in another container worth P2,080.

Tumlad is facing charges of violating provisions of Presidential Decree No. 1865.

She is currently detained at the municipal police station./DGB, WDJ
