Two firearms were recovered from a man in Negros Occidental’s La Castellana town after authorities served a search warrant at his residence.

The suspect was identified as 52-year-old Jessie Teñoso, a resident of the town’s Barangay Sag-ang.

Joint elements of the local police station and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Negros Occidental implemented the search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court judge Cyclamen Jison Fernandez.

Recovered were two caliber .38 revolvers.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act were filed against the suspect.

Teñoso was under the custody of CIDG./MS, WDJ
