A girl was found dead in a field at Barangay Tinayunan Hill’s Sitio Anislag in Negros Oriental’s Guihulngan City on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

Based on the investigation, the girl was identified as “Shella,” a Grade 8 student and a resident of the said village.

According to witnesses, they still saw the student on the way to her school, but she wasn’t able to arrive at her class.

The victim sustained stabs in the neck and in different parts of her body, and she was possibly raped before she was killed, police said.
