Elements of San Enrique Municipal Police Station confiscated suspected shabu from a man at Barangay Poblacion in Negros Occidental’s San Enrique town.

Around five plastic sachets of suspected shabu, illegal drug paraphernalia, a .45 caliber pistol with various ammunition, and seven bladed weapons were seized from 43-year-old Dennis Ermeo.

A search warrant for the violation of the Republic Act (RA) 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, was served against the suspect.

The warrant was issued by Judge Mary Jennifer Protacio-Arches of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 62, dated March 24.

Ermeo is also facing charges of violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The suspect was in the custody of the police station./MS, WDJ
