A barangay tanod of Quintin Remo in Negros Occidental’s Moises Padilla town was shot dead by an unidentified assailant on Tuesday night, March 28.
Marvin Caramihan, 50 years old, sustained multiple gunshot wounds on his body.
Village chief Felisa Villaflor told the police that Caramihan and his six-year-old son were riding on his motorcycle on the way home from the town proper where they were waylaid by unidentified persons.
The suspects shot the victim several times, hitting his forehead.
There was no report that the son got injured in the incident.
An investigation is ongoing for the identification of the suspects and to determine the motive in the killing./MS, WDJ
