The two victims in the shooting incident at Barangay 5’s Sitio Galo in Negros Occidental’s Isabela town on Tuesday, March 28, have been identified.
Isabela Municipal Police Station said the two fatalities were 31-year-old motorcycle driver Stephen Liman, a resident of the village’s Purok Market Vendors; and 51-year-old Randy Macasa, a resident of Barangay Sibucao’s Purok Esperanza in the province’s San Enrique town.
In an initial investigation by the police, the victims were traveling from La Castellana to Moises Padilla towns.
The suspects were also traversing the same direction and they immediately shot the victims.
Twelve rounds of caliber .45 pistol and live ammunition were recovered from the crime scene.
A police investigation is still ongoing to determine the motive for the crime./WDJ
