A drag racer was dead on the spot after his motorcycle crashed along the National Road at Barangay Gargato in Negros Occiental’s Hinigaran town on Sunday afternoon, March 26.

Police identified the fatality as Mike Ellouise Vallejo, a criminology graduate, and a resident of San Enrique town’s Barangay Poblacion.

Hinigaran deputy police chief, Captain Lionel Adolacion, said Vallejo was heading northeast at a high speed when he accidentally crashed his motorcycle into a tree.

The force of the impact threw Vallejo 20 meters away from his motorcycle.

He died on the spot due to the injuries he sustained all over his body.

The victim’s father told the police that Vallejo used to drive fast./DGB, WDJ
