A lifeless body of a man was found at Barangay Zone 3 in Negros Occidental’s Talisay City on Saturday night, March 25.

The victim was identified as Jericho Sevilla, 22 years old, a resident of the said place.

Joemarie, the victim’s father, told the police that he recovered his son’s body floating in the Catablan River.

He said his son is taking maintenance medicine for epilepsy.

The father also warned his son not to swim in the river as he saw him swimming with his friends, police said.

The victim’s family requested the police to conduct a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death./MS, WDJ
