More than P500,000 worth of suspected illegal drugs were recovered from a high-value individual (HVI) in a buy-bust operation in Bacolod City’s Barangay 12 on Wednesday night, March 22.

The suspect was identified as Darel Demafelis, 22 years old, and a resident of the village’s Purok Masinadyahon.

Recovered from the suspect were 12 transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 76 grams, valued at P516,000.00.

Demafelis is now in the custody of Police Station 5 and is facing illegal drug-related charges./WDJ
