A 72-year-old man was arrested for malversation of public funds.

Francisco Grupe of Bacolod City’s Barangay 19, was arrested at Barangay Lag-asan in Negros Occidental’s Bago City on Tuesday afternoon, March 21.

Judge Mary Jennifer Protasio Arches of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 62 signed the warrant dated March 16.

A P60,000 bail for Grupe’s temporary liberty was recommended./MS, WDJ
