A van driver was killed in a vehicular accident at Barangay Fabrica in Negros Occidental’s Sagay City on Thursday, March 16.
Killed was Errol Panilagan, 51 years old, a resident of Sitio Tan-ao in the city’s Barangay Poblacion 1.
Sagay City police chief, Lt. Colonel Roberto Indiape, Jr. said Panilagan’s vehicle was heading south towards Bacolod City when a truck, driven by 32-year-old Josepio Coniendo, accidentally rammed the rear of another van driven by Rouel Tanguan along the access road in Hacienda Leo.
Tanguan’s van rammed the rear of Panilagan’s van, causing the vehicle to lose control and crash on the roadside.
