A man was stabbed several times at Barangay Mambugsay in Negros Occidental’s Cauayan town on Wednesday night, March 15.

The victim was identified as John Raymart Aguirre, 24 years old, a resident of Mambugsay’s Purok 2.

The suspect was identified as Arjay Dugaduga of the village’s Purok Tumpok.

According to the initial investigation, Cauayan police chief, Major Gary Allan Resuma said Aguirre was heading home with his cousin when he was stabbed by the suspect.

Aguirre was brought to a hospital in the province’s Kabankalan City for treatment.

Meanwhile, Dugaduga fled after the incident./WDJ
