A 17-year old boy and his companion are facing charges for allegedly stealing the batteries of a wheel loader at Barangay Blumentritt in Negros Occidental’s Murcia town.

The minor’s name is withheld by the local police station, while the other suspect was identified as Segundo Pacigado, 35 years old, a resident of Bacolod City’s Barangay Mansilingan.

Jay-ar Arante, the wheel loader driver, reported to the police that he saw the suspects carrying two batteries valued at P15,000.

Arante added they forcibly removed the batteries from the steel holder without any permission from the owner.

The suspects were taken to the police station for custody./MS, WDJ
