A high-value drug target (HVI) was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Bacolod City’s Barangay 27, yesterday morning.

Police nabbed 26-year-old Mark Salmingo, a resident of the village’s Rizal Extension, Purok Star Apple 2.

Confiscated from the suspect were 58 small and medium-sized sachets of suspected shabu with a combined weight of 150 grams and had a market value of P1,020,000.

The operation was led by the Special Operations Unit of the Police Regional Office in Western Visayas, the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group and Police Station 4.
