A caregiver from Negros Occidental’s Bago City is wanted by the United States’ Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after being accused of molesting two children in Los Angeles, California.

In a report by the Los Angeles Times, federal prosecutors identified the Negrense as 48-year-old Edgardo Feralin Dormido, Jr.

Dormido was charged with five counts in relation to child molestation at the Los Angeles County Supreme Court in October 2015.

He allegedly molested two nine-year-old girls, touching them inappropriately on numerous occasions for more than a year, according to prosecutors.

The suspect fled the U.S. and went back to the Philippines via Taiwan, FBI agents said.

Dormido was slapped with an additional charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution by the L.A. Superior Court.

U.S. prosecutors believe Dormido is in Bago City, working as a janitor at a local college in the city./DGB, WDJ
