The new Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Bacolod City at Barangay Mansilingan’s Sitio Manayawsayaw will be formally turned over today.

LTO-Bacolod chief Renato Novero said among the visitors expected to arrive at the turnover ceremony is LTO chief Jose Arturo Tugade and Transportation Undersecretary Mark Steven Pastor.

The new LTO-Bacolod office is located on a one-hectare property owned by the Negros Occidental provincial government.

The construction of the facility was valued at P33 million, and features a larger impounding area and parking space compared to the space at its previous site on the city’s Cottage Road.

The old LTO office in the city will be converted into a multi-use building, possibly as the new CyberCentre 2./DGB, WDJ
