A wanted person in Negros Occidental’s Calatrava town, who is facing the charge for two counts of rape, was arrested at Barangay Palanas’ Sitio Cambo-o in Cebu province’s Ginatilan town.

An arrest warrant was served against alleged suspect Jonathan Benlot, 43 years old, at around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25.

The warrant was issued on July 4, 2013 by Judge Danilo Amisola of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 58 in Negros Occidental’s San Carlos City.

The court did not recommend bail for the temporary liberty of Benlot.

He was taken to Ginatilan Municipal Police Station for custody./MS, WDJ
