A house was destroyed and three others were damaged in a fire at Punta Magsungay in Bacolod City’s Barangay Singcang-Airport late Thursday night, February 23.

The blaze destroyed the house owned by a certain Dennis Louie Herrera, while three other homes — owned by Melody Laurencio, Carmelita Bornea and Roslyn Dohaylo — suffered extensive damage, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Bacolod City said.

Damage was estimated at around P15,000, and no one was hurt in the incident.

BFP-Bacolod said they received the fire call at around 9:45 p.m. and a fireout was declared shortly around 10:00 p.m.

They are still determining the cause of the blaze./DGB, WDJ
